
In collaboration with PODA Pakistan, the Sports School, has organized a one day rock climbing introductory session for Zamir Akhter School children in Nara Mughlan, Chakwal. This initiative aimed to create opportunities for students, particularly girls from underserved communities to experience adventure sports. This initiative was designed to introduce local youth especially girls to adventure sports, providing them with opportunities that are rarely available in underserved rural communities. Through these sessions, participants not only learned climbing skills but also developed confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a sense of achievement. By breaking gender barriers and engaging directly with the local community, The Sports School and PODA successfully empowered young people and promoted a culture of inclusion in sports. This joint effort reflects a shared commitment to nurturing talent and inspiring positive change in Pakistan’s sports landscape.
The Sports Schools with the support of the Soul Mountaineering Foundation organized a 10-day sports climbing training camp in June 2024 in Shigar, Baltistan, to introduce and inspire young local girls to explore the world of climbing. The camp combined training sessions on the boulder wall and practical climbing on natural rock, giving participants a rich and meaningful experience. Over 20 enthusiastic and brave young girls took part, showing remarkable courage, dedication, and promising potential throughout the camp. Ms. Tamara Lungar, CEO, the Soul Mountaineering Foundation and Saba Zahra, CEO, the Sports School provided safety guidelines, personal mentorship, and constant encouragement, creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where every participant felt supported and valued. The truly heartwarming highlight was the participation of a differently abled young girl, whose determination and spirit deeply touched everyone, beautifully reflecting the inclusive vision of the camp and the area's emerging talent. The training camp concluded with thoughtful reflections and suggestions for continued support, mentorship, and regular practice, to help these young girls grow stronger, more confident, and inspired to reach new heights in climbing and in life.


The Sports School and Climb Crux Pakistan together organize weekend rock climbing training sessions at various spots in Islamabad, Pakistan, to encourage healthy activities and promote sports culture. These sessions are designed for beginners as well as intermediate climbers, offering a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow. Experienced instructors guide participants through climbing techniques, safety practices, and teamwork exercises. The program also aims to build confidence, discipline, and a sense of adventure among the youth. By making climbing accessible, we hope to inspire more people to connect with nature and discover the joy of outdoor sports.
The Sports School in collaboration with the Soul Mountaineer Foundation, organized a one-day bouldering session at the boulder wall in Shigar, Skardu exclusively for local girls on 23 June 2025. The participants were very happy and excited throughout the session. Experienced instructors taught them basic climbing techniques and emphasized the importance of safety. The activity focused on building confidence, teamwork, and refining their climbing skills. Many of them challenged themselves to climb higher than they thought possible, discovering new strength and courage. The smiles on their faces reflected their sense of achievement and joy. Such initiatives aim to create a positive impact by making outdoor sports more accessible and empowering young women in the region.
